How the check works
Our server fetches your homepage, /robots.txt and /llms.txt once, the same way a simple crawler would. We don't store the address you enter.
Limits you should know about
- Schema added by JavaScript may be missed. We read the HTML your server sends. If a plugin or tag manager injects schema in the browser, this check can say "not found" when it's actually there.
- Some sites block automated checks. Firewalls can return an error to our server that real AI crawlers might not get, or the other way round.
- Crawler access is not the same as being recommended. This doesn't test what ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews say about you. That's what the $49 Snapshot does.
